LEG•A•CY (n.) /ˈleɡəsē/ a gift from the past to the future
This November, we are launching a unique and unprecedented event in the Golan Heights.
We want to explain why.
This contested and controversial plateau—stretching parallel to Jordan from the northern end of the Galilee all the way to Mount Hermon where the Lebanese, Syrian, and Israeli borders collide—has served significant function to Abraham’s inheritance since Moses first marked its soil a place of refuge, since Joshua first led Israel’s tribes across the thresholds of their promises, and since Jesus first pressed His disciples on His divine Personhood and declared the very Gates of Hell too weak to withstand His coming Kingdom.[1] Since Gamla held the ground of this frontier “in defense of Jerusalem”[2] in the decades following the Ascension. Since the Israel Defence Forces put an end to the tyranny of Syrian rockets showering Israeli kibbutzim after securing the Heights in 1967’s Six Day War—and kept it through the sacrifices of the Yom Kippur War. Since new generations have pioneered wineries and neighborhoods for families to flourish. And it will continue to define the region in the face of Hezbollah’s looming ambitions giving hands and feet to Iranian state-sponsored terrorism along and within Israel’s borders.
In honor of the past, and in light of the future, we invite you to join us for a 4-day event unlike any other, centered around the plans and purposes of God for Israel and “the nations roundabout.”[3] Gather around the bonfire of the Word with renowned Bible scholars, teachers, and hundreds of covenant-confessing believers. Hear directly from decorated IDF generals and commanders tasked with guarding the security of the Golan. And experience the best food, wine, and beer the Golan Heights have to offer.
Join FAI, IAI, and our friends and family for the first of a one-of-a-kind event blending a Bible conference into a film and music festival for prayer, worship, and an unprecedented opportunity to learn how to engage in the plans and purposes of God for the globe in and from the Middle East—from this strategic plateau awarded to the sons and daughters of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
This is a festival; a family event, and a celebration of truth and beauty in music and film. But it’s more than that.
It’s about the Golan, and the God who ordained her.
